If you run a bot, an automation script or an Android emulator, you’re probably keeping them on your own computer. The price of that is three things you pay every day: leaving the machine on, the electricity, and worst of all — the job stopping the moment your power or internet drops. Moving this work onto an always-on server solves exactly that. This article explains how it’s done and what you need.
Why a server, not your own computer?
A server is a machine whose only job is to stay on without interruption. Once you move your bots and emulators there:
- You can turn your computer off. The work runs on the server; your home, your internet, your power are out of the equation.
- No interruptions. Redundant power and network keep the job running 7/24 without a hitch.
- Resources are yours alone. Your bot doesn’t slow down whatever you’re doing on your own computer.
- You don’t use your own IP. Operations run over the server’s IP.
Why does it need a graphics card?
The key point here: many emulators and some game clients need hardware acceleration (a GPU). On an ordinary VDS with no graphics card, these applications run very slowly, stutter, or don’t open at all.
- Android emulators (BlueStacks, LDPlayer, NoxPlayer) offload graphics to the GPU; on a GPU-less machine they’re unstable.
- Game clients (Metin2, Knight Online, Silkroad) have 3D interfaces that need a graphics card.
So the right product for this work isn’t an ordinary VDS but a graphics card server.
How much GPU is enough?
Good news: very little. These applications want the graphics card to exist, not to be powerful. Unless you’re running a language model, you don’t need an expensive RTX dedicated server.

As you run more windows, what decides performance is not the GPU but the cores and memory; simply move up a plan as the number of windows grows.
How do you connect and run it?
The server is delivered with Windows and managed over Remote Desktop (RDP):
- When payment is confirmed, the IP address, username and password appear in your panel.
- You connect with “Remote Desktop Connection” on Windows, or the Microsoft Remote Desktop app on a phone/tablet.
- Once connected, the server is just like a desktop computer in front of you: you install your emulator, start your bot, close the window and leave. The work keeps running in the background.
No extra software is needed; RDP comes ready on both Windows and phones.
How many bots / emulators run at once?
There’s no fixed number; it depends entirely on how heavy the emulator is, what the bot does and how many windows you run. The right approach isn’t to guess but to monitor: you see your resource usage live in the panel, and move up a plan without data loss as you near the limit. Starting on a lower plan and measuring your real load is always cheaper than buying big up front.
A short note
When using bots and automation, make sure you comply with the terms of service of whatever game or service you run. The server gives you a stable, always-on environment; what you run in that environment is your responsibility.
