Up to 29% higher single-core performance

AMD Ryzen 9 5950X: High Clock Speed

Our virtual servers run on AMD Ryzen 9 5950X. Against the Ryzen 9 3950X in the same class it scores 18% higher on multi-core work, and 29% higher on single-core performance compared with the Ryzen 9 3950X.

Clock speed is what decides performance in applications that run on a single thread: trading and automation software, business applications and remote desktop sessions. In this class of work a processor with more but slower cores falls behind.

Source: PassMark CPU Mark,Temmuz 2026. Scores are published by an independent benchmark database rather than the manufacturer and may change over time. Real-world performance on a virtual server depends on the number of cores allocated to your plan.

A Cloud Management Platform

Powering your server on and off, reinstalling it, opening a console, restoring a backup, writing an rDNS record and upgrading resources are not scattered across separate places. Everything sits in one panel, ready the moment you order.

What is Ryzen VDS DDR4 good for?

01

A multi-purpose server for small businesses

The Ryzen 9 5950X pairs sixteen cores with high clock speed. For companies running a website, a database, file sharing and backup services on one machine, those services land on separate cores — when one gets busy, the others do not slow down.

02

Development, build and test environments

Compilation, automated testing and continuous integration all run in parallel, so build times shorten in step with core count. Plans from 12 vCPU upwards cut build times noticeably. This is the most economical way for a software team to get a dedicated build server.

03

Projects looking for price-to-performance

It delivers the same core count as our DDR5 series at a lower cost. For individual projects and newly founded companies where budget decides but performance cannot be compromised, this is the most balanced virtual server in our catalogue.

Frequently asked questions

What is a VDS, and how does it differ from a dedicated server?
A VDS is an isolated server with resources reserved for you, created by partitioning a Ryzen 9 5950X based machine through a virtualisation layer. On a dedicated server the whole machine is yours; a VDS lets you rent as much of a sixteen-core system as you actually need.
What is the difference between Ryzen VDS DDR4 and DDR5?
Both series offer the same core count. The DDR5 series uses a newer processor and faster memory, which shows up mainly in memory-bandwidth-sensitive work such as analytics and media processing. The DDR4 series delivers very close performance in everyday workloads at a lower price.
How is a 16-core processor shared on a virtual server?
The vCPU count on your plan is reserved for your server. Cores are not oversold across customers; the figure on the plan is the capacity actually available to you.
Can I increase disk, RAM and core capacity later?
Disk is independent of the plan: you can add disk during checkout and upgrade it later. RAM and vCPU cores cannot be raised on their own; for those two you move up a plan, and the move is carried out without data loss. If you run several services on one server, the higher-core plans stop those services from slowing each other down.
Can I connect over Remote Desktop (RDP)?
Yes. Windows installations use RDP and Linux installations use SSH. If the server stops responding over the network, you can still reach it through the VNC console in the panel.
Which plan suits build and render work?
These jobs run in parallel, so completion time tracks core count directly. From 12 vCPU upwards the difference becomes clearly visible; below that the gain over a smaller plan stays modest.
Can I edit rDNS (reverse DNS) records?
Yes, free of charge. You enter the records in the panel and the change is applied automatically.
Ryzen or Core i9 for a game server?
Most game servers depend on single-core speed. Core i9 leads slightly on single-thread rating, while Ryzen offers more cores at a comparable clock. If you plan to run several instances on one server, Ryzen is the better fit.
How quickly is my server delivered?
Delivery is automatic. Your server is ready within seconds of payment confirmation and the management panel appears in your client area.
Can I rent additional IP addresses?
Yes, up to 10 additional IP addresses per server. Allocation is handled through the panel, and you edit the rDNS records yourself.
Can I try the server before buying?
No trial is offered, but you have an unconditional right of return within the first 3 days. If you are running build or test workloads, that window is enough to measure whether your times actually improve.
Who is a Ryzen VDS a good fit for?
Small and medium businesses running several services on one server, software teams needing a build machine, and individual projects that want strong performance without paying for the DDR5 tier. Sixteen cores at high clock speed cover both parallel and single-threaded work.
What does technical support cover?
Support covers operating-system level accessibility and infrastructure-related faults. Installing and configuring third-party software on the server falls outside that scope; separate support plans are available for it.
How often are my backups taken?
Every day. All Ryzen VDS DDR4 servers are backed up daily to separate backup servers, at no extra charge.
Do you offer website migration?
Yes. We support moving sites from your current provider to your Ryzen VDS DDR4 server. See our Site Transfer Policy for the scope and pricing.
Where are the servers hosted?
All Ryzen VDS DDR4 servers are hosted in the TAYNET data center in Istanbul, which gives low round-trip times to Europe, the Middle East and the Caucasus alike.
Is there a management panel?
Yes. A server management panel comes automatically with your Ryzen VDS DDR4 service. Operating system installation, restarts, the VNC console, rDNS editing and traffic monitoring are all handled there, with no separate panel licence to pay.
Is there a traffic limit?
Every plan has a monthly Fair Usage Point (FUP), ranging from 3 TB to 20 TB across the Ryzen VDS DDR4 range. Reaching it does not suspend your service; your server’s speed is capped at the post-FUP rate defined for your plan (5–40 Mbps). You are notified by e-mail at 50%, 80% and 100%. You can lift the cap immediately by buying extra traffic from the panel at 46 TRY + VAT per TB, and the counter resets with your new billing period. For the full detail, read our Fair Usage Policy.
